MORE THAN JUST DATA CENTERS
CoreSite is rooted in interconnection. We began in 2001 operating two of the world's most densely connected, carrier-neutral data centers: One Wilshire in Los Angeles and 55 S. Market Street in San Jose, California, home to the original MAE West.
Now publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: COR), CoreSite supports more than 700 customers across 12 data centers in 7 major U.S. markets. The needs of our customers continue to evolve with innovation in applications and changing end-user demand, creating a need for more than just colocation.

ROOTED IN INTERCONNECTION
CoreSite Realty Corporation started in 2001 as CRG West, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group. Our company was created to meet the needs of interconnection and data center customers at One Wilshire in Los Angeles and 55 South Market in San Jose. From 2001 through 2009, CRG West continued to expand its data center footprint across the US and broaden its offering of interconnection services.
As CRG West's strengths and abilities continued to grow, so did the company's customer base. The Any2 Internet peering exchange was launched and quickly became the second largest of its kind in the U.S. Web 2.0 would bring top websites to CRG West data centers as well as large enterprise customers.
In 2009, our company rebranded as CoreSite, more indicative of our national capabilities, international reach, and mission-critical reliability. In 2010, CoreSite became publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: COR). As of year-end 2011, CoreSite operates 12 data centers in seven major communications markets across the United States. The company's portfolio totals more than two million square feet, serving more than 700 customers.
